Mild climate all year round, long sandy beaches and a beautiful historic center: in Pietra Ligure nothing is missing! A splendid promenade under the palm trees and modern seaside facilities make Pietra a truly welcoming seaside resort suitable for everyone. On the beautiful beaches you can sunbathe in peace, have lunch, sign up for surfing and swimming schools, water sports tournaments, practice water aerobics. Here was born one of the very first beaches in Liguria equipped for dogs.

In addition to the sea and entertainment, Pietra boasts a beautiful historic center divided into Borgo Vecchio and Borgo Nuovo. The Borgo Vecchio is medieval with its typical narrow alleys, the tall and colorful houses, the arched buttresses, the paved pavement and the plays of shade and sun between the roofs.

The Borgo Nuovo is Renaissance. Walking through the center you will come across splendid medieval and eighteenth-century palaces, the most important being Palazzo Leale-Franchelli, with beautiful frescoed rooms and a rich library.

There is, of course, no shortage of appointments to delight the palate of the sweet tooth: in September Dolcissima Pietra, where it is possible to taste and buy delicacies, desserts, wines and liqueurs from all over Italy. In August it is worth going up to Ranzi, a small village surrounded by greenery just 3 kilometers from Pietra, for the traditional Nostralino festival: an authentic festival where you can taste traditional dishes and enjoy a glass of the red wine of "our old men".
