Since the 1st of January 2016 Vigo di Rendena with the municipalities of Daré and Villa Rendena create a new municipality: Porte di Rendena. Situated in the region of Trentino Alto Adige, is a typical village inside the Adamello-Brenta’s natural park, close to Madonna di Campiglio and Pinzolo. Located at 614m of altitude, it extends partly on the eastern slopes of the little Horn and partly on the plain of the valley floor.

It’s an ancient village, typical of the Val Rendena, it was founded by the Gauls on the 4th century. It is very near to the Ski area of Marilleva-Folgarida-Madonna di Campiglio-Pinzolo, an excellent starting point for skiing in the winter and during the summer it’ s a good point of departure for such interesting sightseeings
